Tanjong Tajocha, a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants with over 15 years’ experience in accountancy, tax and business consulting, is COO at Febe Associates, based in Gateshead.

Mark Sutcliffe, a publisher and translator, has long-standing links with the refugee and other communities in Teesside and North Yorkshire as a volunteer and trustee.

Jama Jama, current chair of IPC, has been involved with supporting refugees and those seeking asylum for many years, having set up the refugee group Golis Community Association in Newcastle, and serving as chair of the East African Support Group.

John Hinman has worked in the charity sector for many years, notably with the NSPCC, as well as on policy and public affairs and as a member of the national consultancy team working with black and ethnic minority communities.

Afi Dometi is the founder and CEO of Africawad in Newcastle, supporting local women in the North East who volunteer their time to help recycle clothes, providing invaluable work experience, and supporting humanitarian projects in Africa.
